Hello and welcome to Primary 2\u2019s class section of our school website!<\/p>\n

In Primary 2 our learning is full of fun, curiosity, and creativity!<\/p>\n

We work hard every day developing our literacy and numeracy through games, stories, songs, and real-life experiences that help us to build strong foundations and develop confidence.<\/p>\n

Over the year in numeracy, we will be looking at numbers to 100 and beyond. We will be learning how to recognise, write and sequence numbers as well as learning to skip count in 10s, 2s and 5s. We will also be developing our knowledge of shape, time, money and so much more! In literacy we will be developing our dialogic skills to help us take an active part in discussions and share our views effectively we will also be learning new phonemes to help us develop our reading and writing.<\/p>\n

In Primary 2, we love to learn through play. \u00a0As we explore, experiment, and ask questions, we grow our imagination and creativity, and develop so many skills including problem-solving, sharing, and teamwork to name just\u00a0 a few!<\/p>\n

We have a busy school year ahead of us with lots of fun opportunities to enjoy new learning together and to be all we can be!<\/p>\n
