The first topic is looking at chemical reactions and how to identify them and the second looking at the atom and different analytical techniques. Pupils then start the National 5 course so they are prepared for the transition into S4.<\/p>\n<h2>Senior Phase<\/h2>\n<p>Chemistry is offered at five levels in the senior phase. The five main phases are National 5, National 4, National 3, Higher and Advanced Higher.
