Biology is the branch of Science that looks at plants and animals are the complex ecosystems around us.<\/p>\n
In S3 Biology pupils will recap topics from S2 then start two new topics. The first topic is looking at transport systems within animals and then pupils go onto looking at enzymes. Pupils then start the National 5 course so they are prepared for the transition into S4.<\/p>\n
Biology is offered at five levels in the senior phase. These five phases are: National 5, National 4, National 3, Higher and Advanced Higher. The document below contains a breakdown of each course and how it is assessed.<\/p>\n
