The Support for Learning Department supports equality of opportunity and values the range of interests, qualities and abilities of every learner. It aims to:
- promote, support and deliver an education of the highest quality to the school’s young people within a developing culture of inclusion
- ensure that every child and young person has access to educational opportunities which lead to success and further development of the individual’s learning potential
- provide an education which is appropriate to learning needs, is supportive of the young person and is delivered in partnership with young people, parents and the wider community
- support pupils through the process of Staged Intervention.
