We strive at all times to promote positive relationships and behaviour across the school.\u00a0 This is highlighted in and promoted through our School Values.\u00a0 Respectful standards of behaviour are necessary for a safe and pleasant learning environment for our children to get the best from their education.\u00a0 We, therefore, expect our children to strive for the standards of behaviour that are necessary to promote this environment.\u00a0 In encouraging our children to show respect for themselves, respect for others and respect for property, we are promoting positive relationships and positive behaviour.<\/p>\n
School rules are made in the interest of, and for the well-being and safety of all of our children.\u00a0 We rely on our parents\/carers to support us in this endeavour and to encourage their children to respect our values and adhere to our rules.\u00a0 Strong partnership working between home and school is essential to allow our children to continue to learn in the positive environment that St Patrick\u2019s enjoys.<\/p>\n
Our school uses \u2018restorative approaches\u2019 to handle any issues of conflict where children are encouraged to take responsibility for their actions and support one another in moving forward with respect.\u00a0 We aim to seek solutions to any conflicts which may arise.\u00a0 Our school follows Inverclyde\u2019s Positive Relationship Policy.\u00a0 Instances of inappropriate or challenging behaviour are dealt with in line with Inverclyde policy and parents\/carers are kept fully informed.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
