Football Team
Today in St Mary’s some of us were playing FOOTBALL!!!!!
Unfortunately, we lost but it was a hard game and it’s the taking part that counts. We all tried our hardest but that was the outcome. The score was 5-2 with Andrew bagging both goals with style.

Primary 1 and Primary 7 Paired Reading
Today we invited the Primary 1 pupils of our school to our classroom to do some paired reading. They brought us their writing journals and read us their review of a book called Robot Rumpus. They also brought in their favourite book from home or their class library to read. We read them their book and gave them an opportunity to read as well. We all had a great time and enjoyed interacting with the younger children and we are sure that they all had a great time as well!

Learning in Primary 7
Today, as part of our World Book Day reading activities, we have been exploring our class novel, Attack of the Giant Robot Chickens. In our co-operative groups we have been using reciprocal teaching strategies to help us develop our skills in prediction and clarifying.

No uniforms in class today as Primary 7 dressed up for WBD. Some of us dressed up as our favourite book character whilst others dressed in pyjamas for our afternoon storytime with Mrs Blincow.
