Community Learning and Development (CLD)\u00a0in Inverclyde aims to help individuals and groups in their communities to achieve their life goals and tackle real everyday issues in their lives through community based learning and community action.<\/p>\n

Government guidance states that CLD\u2019s specific focus should be:<\/p>\n

  1. Improve life chances for people of all ages, through learning, personal development and active citizenship<\/li>\n
  2. Stronger, more resilient, supportive, influential and inclusive communities<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Inverclyde Alliance has the responsibility to set the direction for CLD and Inverclyde Council takes the lead in putting this into practice.<\/p>\n
