Bikeability

In P6 we have been learning how to cycle on the road safely. So far we have learned how to complete the starting procedure, stopping procedure, controlled and uncontrolled left and right turn and the emergency stop. We have been practising in the safety of our own playground which has road markings painted onto the ground.

We have learned all the road signs such as stop sign, give way sign and slow down signs. We are hoping to complete all our maneuvers this week in order to make it out onto the road with the help of our community wardens and teachers. Look out for some photos of our cycling in action and advice for drivers soon.
