Senior Phase Assessments <\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n

For French and Spanish at National 3\/4\/5 and Higher Level there are two units.<\/strong><\/p>\n

  1. Understanding Language<\/u><\/em><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    This unit assesses a young person\u2019s ability to Read and Listen to written and spoken French\/Spanish.<\/p>\n

      \n
    1. Using Language<\/u><\/em><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      This unit assesses a young person\u2019s ability to Talk and Write in French\/Spanish.<\/p>\n

      The internal assessments for these units are carried out and marked by the class teacher.<\/p>\n

      *For National 4 level there is also an Added Value Unit*<\/p>\n

      National 5 SQA<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
