This will be examined in May by a visiting external examiner appointed by the Scottish Qualifications Authority. The exam is out of 60 marks.<\/p>\n<h3>UNDERSTANDING MUSIC<\/h3>\n<p>There is an examination for Advanced Higher candidates which takes place during the main SQA examination diet in May or June and is approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes in length.
