Pupil Voice<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

We believe strongly in, and listen <\/span>to, \u2018pupil voice\u2019. We have a number of pupil committees, or action groups, with <\/span>representatives from P1-7 where children give their opinions and take on leadership roles to support the work of the school. These are supported by various members of staff throughout the school. The pupil voice groups that we have are:<\/span><\/p>\n

TIE (Time for Inclusive Education) – Miss Neilson<\/p>\n

Eco Warriors – Mrs Stewart<\/p>\n

Fairtrade Champions – Miss Dundas and Miss Docherty<\/p>\n

Rights – Mrs McGroarty<\/p>\n

GIRFEC – Mrs McGroarty + Mrs McLaughlan<\/p>\n

Play Champions – Mrs Heron<\/p>\n

Anti-Racism – Mrs O’Hagan<\/p>\n

Meta Skills – Mrs McGroarty<\/p>\n

Digital Champions – Mr Coyle<\/p>\n

Respect Me: Anti-bullying group – Mrs Jackson<\/p>\n

Outdoor learning – Mrs McVittie<\/p>\n

JRSO – Mr Sorrell<\/p>\n

Reading – Mrs Dyer<\/p>\n

Fundaising – TBC<\/p>\n

Young Leaders of Learning – TBC<\/p>\n

The Head Teacher also meets with different groups of pupils from across the school at \u2018Tuesday Talk’ <\/span>where children are <\/span>asked for feedback on a range of issues. These opinions are fed into the school improvement plans. <\/span><\/p>\n
