<\/p>\nWe are the pupil voice group responsible for all things digital @ Newark primary. We named ourselves ‘The Newark Digitals’ in session 2023-24. This is the logo we designed below.<\/p>\n

Every year, we meet termly to discuss how we can improve technology use in our classrooms and any online safety issues. We run whole school learning, like Safer Internet Day, and competitions for all pupils, like Make It ‘Appen. We work with Mr Coyle to spread the message of being digitally safe and aware through the school.\u00a0 Mr Coyle works with children to help them use technology to remove their barriers to learning.<\/p>\n
In May 2025, some of us met with a member of the digital schools award team to talk about how good our school is and our goals moving forward. This recognises the journey of pupils and staff of Newark using technology to facilitate effective learning and teaching and removing barriers to learning.<\/p>\n
