It also explains how adults and governments must work together to make sure all children can enjoy all their rights.<\/p>\n<p>Every child has rights, whatever their ethnicity, gender, religion, language, abilities or any other status.<\/p>\n<p>The Convention must be seen as a whole: all the rights are linked and no right is more important that another. The right to relax and play (Article 31) and the right to freedom of expression (Article 13) have equal importance as the right to be safe from violence (Article 19) and the right to education (Article 28).<\/p>\n<p><em>From the UNICEF website &#8211; https:\/\/www.unicef.org.uk\/what-we-do\/un-convention-child-rights\/<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #800000\">Assembly<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Assemblies provide a focus for the whole school to learn about Children&#8217;s Rights together.\u00a0 Classes take responsibility for promoting rights which to their learning at special assemblies.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We are a Bronze Level Rights Respecting School and are working towards attaining Silver Level this session.
