I was very, very nervous when it came to the day of the house captains being announced. I also was very, very excited because Emily,Lucy, Natty and I needed to know straight away. [ we couldn’t wait until the AFTERNOON] !!!!!!!!!!!!!! When the house captains were announced I was soooooooooooo happy because I got the house captain of Mull!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. Emily got house captain of Bute !!!!!!!!!!!!!, Ben got the house captain of Arran !!!!!!!!!!!!. Then Lucy got the house captain of Cumbrae!!!!!!!!!!!!!! we all were soooooooooooo happy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am really excited because of my new job. I am part of the new transition team. I will be working with the nursery children .

This week I have been making a maths board game with Jenni for P3/2  and we are making a ww2 hats . And Lucy is the new house captain of Cumbrae.

For maths week Scotland P7 were making board games for the classes and Iona and I paired up to make a board game for P3 , our board game was called pirate school because primary 3’s topic is pirates but since it was maths week Scotland we had to include some maths, primary 3 are  doing their two times table so we included it. Iona and I really enjoyed working together on this board game. During maths week Scotland we also did a competition on sumdog that was so much fun as well.

In Kilmacolm Primary School we got told who are the new house captians of Mull , Bute, Arran  and Cumbrae  and it was exciting.

Me and my partner Ben Leith were making a Maths board game. It was Number Snap. It was for the Primary 1’s, and they really seemed to enjoy it!

Me and Cameron made a maths board game called Escape school and it is for p1 and they said that it was good.

I used to HATE doing big times tables sums like 2,000×700=1,400,000 thanks to the two step method, it has helped me a lot.

The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas is the book we are reading, we are all enjoying it so far but I like The Butterfly Lion more. One of my favourite thing about is that it is related to our topic World War 2.

It’s getting easier and a lot more fun to do maths.

Now we can all easily divide things like 451,000 divided by 9!
