Allergy Aware School & Nursery<\/h3>\n

Inverkip Primary School and Nursery Class is an Allergy Aware<\/strong> setting. We have children and adults within our school community who have allergies, some of which can cause a serious reaction.<\/p>\n

To help us keep everyone safe, we ask families to be mindful when preparing snacks, packed lunches or food for school and nursery. In particular, please do not send nuts, pulses, or products containing nuts into school or nursery<\/strong>. This includes items such as peanut butter, nut-based spreads and chocolate\/hazelnut spreads.<\/p>\n

While it is not possible for any setting to guarantee that it is completely allergen-free, being Allergy Aware<\/strong> means that we work together to reduce avoidable risks. Staff follow individual healthcare and allergy plans where required, and allergen information for school and nursery meals is available through Inverclyde Council.<\/p>\n

We really appreciate the support of all our families in helping us keep Inverkip a safe and inclusive environment for everyone.<\/p>\n
