At Inverkip Primary School and Nursery, the safety and wellbeing of every child is our top priority. We are committed to creating a safe, supportive environment where children are protected from harm, abuse, neglect, and exploitation.<\/p>\n
Child Protection is everyone\u2019s responsibility. All staff, parents, carers, visitors, and pupils have a role to play in keeping children safe.<\/p>\n

Ms Martin<\/strong> \u2013 Nursery Depute (member of CP team<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\nPosters with photographs and contact details of the Child Protection Team are displayed across the school and nursery to ensure children and adults know who to approach if they have a concern.<\/p>\n
What to do if you are concerned<\/strong>
If you are worried about the safety or wellbeing of a child, please speak to a member of the Child Protection Team immediately. If a child is believed to be in immediate danger, the police should be contacted without delay.<\/p>\nOur commitment<\/strong><\/p>\n\n- \n
All visitors must sign in and wear a visitor badge, which contains safeguarding and fire evacuation information.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

Staff receive regular training in Child Protection and Safeguarding, including the PREVENT Duty, which helps protect children from the risks of radicalisation and extremism.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

Information is shared with parents and carers through newsletters, our school handbook, and on-site displays.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
By working together, we ensure that Inverkip Primary School and Nursery is a safe, nurturing place where every child can learn, grow, and thrive.<\/p>\n
