For more information on DYW <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dyw.scot\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">click here\u00a0<\/a>.<\/span><\/strong><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>\n<div><span lang=\"EN-GB\">DYW plays a key part in the delivery of the Young Person\u2019s Guarantee, which is a commitment to bring together employers, partners and young people. It aims to connect every 16 to 24 year old in Scotland to an opportunity. This could be a job, apprenticeship, further or higher education, training or volunteering.\u00a0 Discover opportunities for the future using the opportunity finder by <a href=\"https:\/\/youngpersonsguarantee.scot\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">clicking here<\/a>.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">It is a team effort to support young people to prepare for the world of work so Inverclyde Academy works with Inverclyde DYW, Skills Development Scotland and MCR Pathways every day through our in-house Career Zone.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">At a regional level, we work closely with our partners at DYW West and West College Scotland to ensure maximum delivery of the young Person\u2019s Guarantee. In the summer term, 18 yooung people completed the MyWoW training from Skills Development Scotland before goig on to work with our incoming P7 schools to spreading the word of the support MyWoW offers to pupils, teachers, parents and carers.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">By volunteering to become Ambassadors, our S1s gained valuable experience and skills that are transferable to the world of work.
