The Purpose of the Framework\"\"<\/span><\/h1>\n

The Scottish Credit and Qualifications Framework helps learners, parents and employers better understand the wide range<\/strong> of qualifications<\/strong> and learning pathways<\/strong> available to young people in Scotland.<\/span><\/p>\n

The framework brings together<\/strong> qualifications from schools, colleges, universities, apprenticeships and wider achievement programmes into one clear system<\/strong>, showing the level of learning achieved<\/strong> and the amount of credit gained<\/strong>.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The SCQF at Inverclyde Academy<\/h2>\n

At Inverclyde Academy, we are committed to ensuring that all young people are supported to achieve success<\/strong> through pathways which reflect their individual strengths, interests and future aspirations<\/strong>. <\/span><\/p>\n

Through our work with the SCQF, we aim to raise awareness of the value of all<\/strong> learning<\/strong> and achievement<\/strong>, helping pupils and families to better understand progression routes<\/strong> into further education, higher education, training and employment.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

As part of our ongoing commitment<\/strong> to improving learner pathways and attainment, we are continuing to develop opportunities for pupils to recognise and celebrate achievement across all areas of school life<\/strong>. This work also supports\u00a0 our whole-school commitment to promoting learner understanding<\/strong> of qualifications, skills, progression and achievement.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
