Bellville Community Gardens

Our lovely little cherub planted and was looking after our allotment during the summer with her family.

Children have access to our local community gardens, where the nursery have hired a planter within the gardens. This allows the children to learn about planting and growing bulbs and seeds, and taking care of the plants and vegetables once they have grown.

The community gardens are an open, outdoor space and which children visit in all seasons. Any vegetables grown in the allotment, will later be used within the children’s Dragon’s Den enterprise where children make and sell soup on a regular basis.
