National Numeracy and Mathematics Progression Framework

 

January 2019: our S2 learners are currently working on the Expressions and Equations branch of the progression pathway….Algebra!

Each learning block contains a review of previous learning, moving on to the next steps of the pathway and a short assessment with feedback.

The pathway below can be accessed for more details by clicking on the link below and choosing Expressions and Equations. An excellent way to check the skills being learned and what comes next.

This progression pathway illustrates the steps we take in learning about Expressions and Equations.

Clicking on the Maths Workout link (log-in details provided by teachers) will access further information about what we’re learning, how to do it, the vocabulary we’re using and lots and lots of practice activities!

For the Expressions and Equations block, choose ALGEBRA AND PROBLEM SOLVING Topics 1, 2, 5, 6 and 7.
