<\/p>\nIn Craigmarloch’s\u00a0 Drama Department pupils in S1-3 have two periods of drama per week and S4-6 can choose drama as part of their senior phase choices.<\/p>\n
We encourage our pupils to work in the group setting in a positive and creative environment.<\/p>\n
We want our pupils to be successful learners by building confidence and relationships within a safe and imaginative space. We offer a broad curriculum that allows all pupils to participate and experience drama.<\/p>\n
Drama is taught using a wide range of resources and written and practical work. This includes a sensory approach , story telling, discussion, role play, mime, physical theatre, improvisation, script work, vocal and movement skills.<\/p>\n
On occasions we also enjoy taking our pupils to the theatre, to enjoy the experience of live performances.<\/p>\n
Over the years we also have produced exciting school performances and productions for our families and friends.<\/p>\n
Craigmarloch Drama department is a welcoming and inclusive space for all our pupils to learn and enjoy the arts<\/p>\n
