Welcome to the Design and Technology Department of Craigmarloch School.<\/span><\/p>\n

As a department we ensure pupils are safe, happy and ready to learn of the role in which Design and Technology has on society and the changing world.<\/span><\/p>\n

Our young people are encouraged to learn how to use tools and machinery safely, promoting independent and collaborative working, responsibility and confidence.<\/span><\/p>\n

Courses offer challenging activities involving research, problem solving, exploration of unfamiliar concepts, skills and materials.<\/span><\/p>\n

ICT in technology is used to transmit, store, create, display and share information by electronic means.<\/span><\/p>\n

Pupils are encouraged to be independent, creative and meet solutions to real life needs and challenges by creating artefacts, models and displays through graphics.<\/span><\/p>\n

As a department we are committed to promoting ecology and recycle\/reuse materials in our projects where possible.<\/span><\/p>\n
