In S1 pupils will learn to play a variety of instruments including Keyboard, Tuned Percussion, Guitar and Ukulele.  They will also develop vocal skills and learn about reading music and understanding musical symbols and terminology.

Pupils will learn to compose music in different styles and will get the opportunity to listen to and analyse a wide range of musical styles.
