The new N6 Higher Business Management course is available to S5 students who have successfully completed the N5 course in S4 and also is an option to S6 students as a crash Higher subject.<\/p>\n

The course contains 5 main topic areas:-<\/p>\n

Understanding Business
\nMarketing
\nOperations
\nFinance
\nPeople (HR)<\/p>\n

The up-dated assessment structure consists of a 90 mark 2 hour 45 minute written paper and 30 mark coursework report on a business of choice.<\/p>\n

The coursework report will include 4 sections:-<\/p>\n

Introduction
\nResearch
\nAnalysis and Interpretation
\nConclusion and recommendations<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>To help develop greater awareness of the current business environment, and to help provide inspiration for the coursework task, students are encouraged to follow the @ClydeviewB Twitter page.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>The department also make use of GLOW Teams to provide\u00a0 additional student support resources. Each student has been issued with a user account name and password to access this facility both in and outwith the classroom.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>\u00a0From a recent survey of N6 students, it was clear that the vast majority found using the Quizizz resource to be helpful as a revision tool for assessments. These quizzes can be found searching\u00a0 N6 Bus Mgt<\/strong>\u00a0quiz name within the website<\/a>.<\/p>\n

To help students relate their studies to the real life work of enterprise, the class participate in a number of activities.<\/p>\n

In November, students participate in the Scotland Schools Global Investment Challenge<\/a>, supported by BNP Paribas and SDS.<\/p>\n
