This helps them to develop their creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills, while also helping to enhance their social, emotional, and physical skills. By taking the lead in their play, children gain a deeper understanding of the world around them and build confidence in their decision-making.<\/p>\n

At Bluebird, we believe that play is the best way for children to learn. While children see play as fun, it also helps them build important skills for life.<\/p>\n

When children build with blocks, complete puzzles, or role play in the house corner, they are learning how to think, make decisions, and solve problems.<\/p>\n

\nPlay gives children lots of chances to talk, listen, and learn new words. Singing songs, telling stories, and imaginative play all help them develop their communication skills.<\/p>\n

\ud83e\udd1d Social and Emotional Development <\/strong>
\nPlaying cooperatively with others shows children how to share, take turns, and make friends. Having conversations with peers and adults helps to build children\u2019s vocabulary by learning new words and phrases.<\/p>\n

\nRunning, climbing, drawing, and using playdough all help children strengthen their muscles, improve balance, and develop the skills they need for their early writing and independence skills.<\/p>\n

\nPlay introduces children to letters, sounds, numbers, and shapes in a variety of fun and interactive ways \u2014 like counting blocks, making marks, following a play dough recipe, looking for signs in our environments.<\/p>\n

\nFree flow play lets children be curious, experiment, and express themselves. It helps them grow into confident and independent learners.<\/p>\n
