At Bluebird Family Centre, we are committed to supporting each child to learn and develop at their own pace, fostering their unique strengths and interests. Our goal is to help children build the lifelong skills and attributes necessary for their future success and well-being.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"680\" data-end=\"758\">CfE is guided by four capacities, which we aim to nurture in every child:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"760\" data-end=\"1285\">\n<li data-start=\"760\" data-end=\"876\">\n<p data-start=\"762\" data-end=\"876\"><strong data-start=\"762\" data-end=\"787\">Confident Individuals<\/strong> who are resilient, have a strong sense of self-worth, and can make informed decisions.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"877\" data-end=\"1004\">\n<p data-start=\"879\" data-end=\"1004\"><strong data-start=\"879\" data-end=\"902\">Successful Learners<\/strong> who are curious, enthusiastic, and equipped with the skills to think creatively and solve problems.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1005\" data-end=\"1130\">\n<p data-start=\"1007\" data-end=\"1130\"><strong data-start=\"1007\" data-end=\"1033\">Effective Contributors<\/strong> who communicate well and contribute positively to their communities.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1131\" data-end=\"1285\">\n<p data-start=\"1133\" data-end=\"1285\"><strong data-start=\"1133\" data-end=\"1157\">Responsible Citizens<\/strong> who understand their rights and responsibilities, respect others, and show kindness and their values.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"1287\" data-end=\"1495\">Through play, exploration, and meaningful interactions, we strive to create a supportive environment where children can thrive across all these areas, preparing them for their next steps in learning and life.<\/p>\n<p>We recognise the need to have a stimulating and nurturing learning environment to facilitate and enhance\u00a0children\u2019s learning and development. Staff members are skilled in ensuring all learning experiences also deliver the 7 principles of the curriculum:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Depth<\/li>\n<li>Coherence<\/li>\n<li>Challenge and Enjoyment<\/li>\n<li>Relevance<\/li>\n<li>Personalisation and Choice<\/li>\n<li>Breadth<\/li>\n<li>Progression<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><strong>Realising the Ambition<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Realising The Ambition which was published in 2020 is a key framework for Early Learning and Childcare in Scotland, it incorporates the guidance and principles of the Pre-birth to 3 and Building The Ambition documents.<\/p>\n<p>At Bluebird Family Centre we recognise that children learn best through free play and provocations to extend and develop their learning and interests.<\/p>\n<p>At Bluebird Family Centre staff members value every child as an individual and recognise that every child learns and develops in their own unique way, through nurture, care and stimulating learning environments staff members\u00a0 ensure that all interactions, spaces and experiences are of the highest quality and support the different developmental stages of each child.<\/p>\n<h2>Learning Journals<\/h2>\n<p style=\"font-style: inherit;font-weight: inherit\"><span style=\"font-style: inherit;font-weight: inherit\">At Bluebird we use the \u2018Learning Journals\u2019 platform to showcase your child\u2019s learning, achievements and successes\u2019. Once your child is enrolled you will be provided with paperwork where you will be asked for provide your email address. You will then be sent a link which will direct you to a<em> &#8216;Parent Zone&#8217; login page<\/em> where you will be asked to create a <em>password<\/em>, along with a <em>4 digit pin<\/em> number.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-style: inherit;font-weight: inherit\"><span style=\"font-style: inherit;font-weight: inherit\"> After this step you will have secure access to your child\u2019s journal entries which will contain a host of wonderful learning experiences along with pictures and or videos and\u00a0 statements about their learning. <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-style: inherit;font-weight: inherit\"><span style=\"font-style: inherit;font-weight: inherit\">You will also be able to upload your own pictures and videos to showcase your child\u2019s learning at home, we greatly encourage parent to regularly login to your child\u2019s journal and see their updates.
