History of the Childcare Hub

School all across Britain closed on March 25th 2020 to stop the virus COVID-19 from being spread from one person to another.

This didn’t stop our All Saints pupils from learning!

Here in the building we hosted a childcare hub to support children whose parents were key workers (e.g. doctors and nurses) from All Saints, King’s Oak and Blairmore Nursery. Staff from each of these 3 places worked together to lead learning tasks and to keep everyone safe and healthy.

Teachers who didn’t work in the hub worked online from home to provide learning tasks and guidance to support families with learning at home.
