Instrumental Night

On Thursday 19th March, the very talented singers and musicians of Newark Primary had a concert to showcase their extraordinary talents.  It was a wonderful evening, where parents, music tutors and staff had the privilege to listen to the emerging talent in our young people.

The guitar, brass, strings, woodwind, chanter, penny whistle groups, together with the choir made this a memorable evening.  We must say a huge thank you to all the music tutors and to the parents for all their help and support!

Red Nose Day

The children had a great time with Active Schools.  What a lot of energy – the adults were exhausted watching!

Mr Blyth won the Welly Bean Walk of Shame!!  One of the best jokes of the day was:  What does Mr Blyth eat for lunch?  Beans on toes!! heehee

Children manning the stalls – Can you guess the Teacher and voting for who is going to walk around the playground with a welly-bean on?

I wonder …….

World Book Day was a great success today!  The variety of characters was fabulous – well done everyone!  You could hear a pin drop today at 11am when all the ‘big ones’ read to all the ‘wee ones’.  We’re all so proud of how nurturing, caring and responsible our Newarkers are. :-))
