We would like to say a HUGE thank you for all of the lovely Christmas gifts from P6/7! We have been well and truly spoilt. Thank you so much. We might need to get the joiners in to widen our doorways after eating all the chocolate!
We hope you all have a wonderful Christmas and New Year! See you all in January,
Miss Shaw, Mrs Prentice, Mrs Macleod, Mrs Smith and Mrs Annfield.
Today in language it became evident we had forgotten all about PRONOUNS!
A pronoun is a word which is used instead of a NOUN.
Eg. I lent Paul a book and Paul lost the book. Sounds better if you write:
I lent Paul a book and he lost it.
Jolly Christmas homework!
Correct these sentences in your reply,
1. Alan told Charles that Alan would help Charles.
2 Mrs Grey has two poodles. Mrs Grey adores the two poodles.
Last night, p6/7 had their first performance of MISSION UGLY…What a success it was! Everyone worked so hard to make sure things ran smoothly and to plan – from the Props and Costume people to the Technical and Scenery groups – what a fabulous job you have all done to make Mission Ugly a great Christmas Pantomime. We are so proud of you all! A huge well done.
We hope the audience enjoyed themselves; we certainly have had lots of fun so far.
Miss Shaw, Mrs Macleod and Mrs Prentice.
At our ‘Celebrating Achievements’ Assembly on Friday, P6/7 walked away with three, super dooper star pupils of the month! Well done to Caitlin Thomson, Grant Nixon and Rachael Lamont.
Caitlin Thomson – Caitlin is always enthusiastic about her work and tries her best in everything she does. She is a happy and helpful girl in the classroom and a super role model to us all. Well done Caitlin!
Grant Nixon & Rachael Lamont – Grant and Rachael have excelled themselves with their contribution to our School Pantomime. They have given up a lot of their lunch-times and in the evenings they have been learning the script with their parents. A huge well done to the pair of you!
