This week was a really hard choice for me to choose who to give certificates to. First of all the whole class were brilliant on Wednesday when I was not feeling well. So I owe them a huge thank you!
I did manage to choose 3 people for certificates.
Caitlin – for never giving up. Even when she finds a piece of work tricky, she asks for help and never gives up. This is a super attitude to have!
Lucas – for putting super detail into his artwork. Your pictures are fantastic to look at. Keep it up!
Yusuf – for having a great first week back. when faced with difficult decisions, Yusuf has made the right choices.
It was nice to be back at school today, although we were all a bit tired! Everyone got down to work straight away. We did some challenge cards, went over our term 1 spelling words, we worked in our trios to do some problem solving and we did illustrations of our holiday news. we finished the day with some PE! We now feel exhuasted and puffed out!
REMINDER – Halloween Disco on Thursday 27th October – P4-P7 – 7.30-8.45pm! It should be great fun!
We have been learning all about our senses, today we were learning about taste and smell. We were blindfolded and then given different fruit and vegetables to taste. First we had to smell them and try to guess what they are, then we tasted them to see if we were right.
We had to taste carrot, cucumber, apple, lime, pineapple and our favourite one chocolate.
We thought the carrot tasted hard and crunchy in our mouth. Callum described the pinespple like a river running in his mouth, becasue it was so juicy. The lime was sour and made our eyes water.
Yesterday we were working with partners in maths. WE were solving wod problems. We had to work together to highlight the important words then solve the problems. Sometimes two heads are better than one!
Primary 4 would like to thank the parents that came in yesterday afternoon. We enjoyed showing off all the work we have done this term. We had fun performing our dance and loved how all the parents joined in. We even have some lovely photos of the parents dancing, maybe you could give us permission to put them up.
Rag bags have been given out today, please return to the school by 10th November.
Last Monday the whole school had a visit from Andy Mckechnie. He was in to talk to us about sports and keeping healthy. He taught us some dances from around the world. It was good fun but tiring.
Every Monday for this term, P4 have been going to a zumba class. Brenda has been teaching us how to do cool dance moves to the beat of the music. It has been really good fun.
