The English Department would like to remind everyone that folio deadlines are approaching. Folio Clinics will take place from Monday 5th March on Monday, Tuesday and Friday lunchtimes as well as after school on Mondays. Pupils will be able to get extra help from teachers and access printers in that time.
All Gaelic learner and fluent pupils S1-6 have also received letters inviting them to take part in the local Mod. Competitions open to pupils have been advertised in class and all are encouraged to take part to improve their language skills and gain a better understanding of Gaelic culture. Letters should be returned to the Gaelic department by Friday 10th March at the latest. Please contact Miss McLennan in the Gaelic department if you have any questions.
S2 Gaelic learner and fluent pupils have been invited to attend the annual Siuthad Gaelic careers event at Eden Court which takes place on Thursday 16th March. Letters have been sent home and permission slips must be returned to the Gaelic department by 6th March at the latest. It is strongly recommended that pupils take up this opportunity to help with subject choices and career planning.
