The pilot was launched in 2019 with…

  • Over 80 settings registered to participate in the pilot from across all six regions;
  • Evidence was submitted for over 220 award elements;
  • Submissions were received from 23 secondary schools, 38 primary schools and 12 early learning and childcare settings;
  • 19 settings were successful with applications for the full award as part of the pilot and many more are continuing on their journey towards the STEM Nation Award.

Registration for the Award is now open and can be accessed via the STEM Nation Online Resource, you can also find information about the award elements and guidance documents for ELC, School, ASN and CLD settings.
