New-Sputnik operates in a very similar manner to the now discontinued IOP SPUTNIK ListServ, with one important exception, see the second bullet below.  The New-Sputnik admin team consists of Drew Burrett, Mark Crookes, Robert Stewart, Andrew Bailey and Stuart Farmer.
