The event was dedicated to a closer look at the draft Professional Standards and, following a warm welcome back from the Co-chairs and some reflections on events since the last meeting, was opened Dr Pauline Stephen from the GTCS.<\/p>\n<p>Delegates heard from members of the Standards Writing Groups &#8211;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Standard for Provisional Registration \u2013 Aileen Kennedy (University of Strathclyde)<\/li>\n<li>Standard for Full Registration \u2013 Jean Laird (Fife Council)<\/li>\n<li>Standard for Career-Long Professional Learning \u2013 Roseanne Fitzpatrick (Highland Council)<\/li>\n<li>Standard for Middle Leaders \u2013 Alison Weatherston (Education Scotland)<\/li>\n<li>Standard for Headship \u2013 Valerie Drew (University of Stirling)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>after which breakout sessions were held to discuss each of the draft Standards.
