The children could draw what they seen or learned about in the book with crayons using their imaginative skills.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-216\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/glowblogs\/oakburn\/files\/2021\/07\/741A38EC-EEC2-4778-8C2D-9B784F0223EF-225x300.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"225\" height=\"300\" \/><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">We have also been doing activities as is is American week at Oakburn, the boys and girls have been making their own American flag, using their fine motor skills cutting out the flag and stars and glueing them.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-217\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/glowblogs\/oakburn\/files\/2021\/07\/C7BCC5D8-9700-41EC-9067-DAB9080594FE-225x300.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"225\" height=\"300\" \/><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The children have being interested in ingredients and mixing in our mud kitchen area, to extend the learning we had our ingredient rice along with some empty water were bottles, the learning was extended as we used these to make musical instruments for the garden den\/stage area so the children can sing songs and make there own music and songs.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-220\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/glowblogs\/oakburn\/files\/2021\/07\/8E8E70BC-1254-464E-9D46-9327FAFFA58E-225x300.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"225\" height=\"300\" \/><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">These are the children\u2019s musical instruments that some of them made.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-219 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/glowblogs\/oakburn\/files\/2021\/07\/17625FB6-8934-478D-9B93-BDD21704EDB4-225x300.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"225\" height=\"300\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>In the garden this week we have been enjoying some of the sunshine, we made a cosy little den story corner for the boys and girls to relax.
