In\u00a0Literacy, P2 have been consolidating the\u00a0\u2018th\u2019\u00a0and\u00a0\u2018ng\u2019\u00a0phonemes. They enjoyed working with partners to sound out and create words containing these sounds. P1 have been exploring\u00a0rhyming words\u00a0and\u00a0syllables, enjoying fun activities to develop their listening and sound awareness.<\/p>\n
In\u00a0Numeracy, P1 have been learning about\u00a0Greedy Zero\u00a0and\u00a0Penguin One\u00a0through stories and active number formation activities, as well as practising in their jotters. P2 have been working with\u00a0numbers to 50, focusing on ordering numbers, finding the number before and after, and completing missing number sequences.<\/p>\n
