This week in room 5 we covered our last sound for Primary 2 ‘mb’ and have been looking at weight using terms like lighter and heavier. We have also been doing some number talks, looking at numbers beyond 20 and some of the ways we can make it using multiplication, division, subtraction, addition. We have been learning Football alongside our World Cup topic, and have created some Scotland posters for our Scotland day next week.<\/p>\n

Hollie: I enjoyed learning about Scotland at the World Cup.<\/p>\n
Isla: I enjoyed painting the Scotland Flag Banner, and mine said ‘Come on Scotland’.<\/p>\n
Lewis: I liked playing Football, and practicing scoring goals in P.E<\/p>\n
Blake: I liked playing Football and practicing passing between my friends.<\/p>\n
Sam: We were doing Football at P.E, and learning how to play in the world cup.<\/p>\n
Romeesa: I enjoyed learning about Scotland and the World Cup.<\/p>\n
Eilidh: I liked learning our new sound mb.<\/p>\n
Beth: I liked learning about football and learning how to pass the ball and score goals.<\/p>\n
Fraser: I liked painting the Scotland Poster.<\/p>\n
Hollie: m is shy and b is bossy, and it is the last sound of primary 2.<\/p>\n
Xayah: I liked painting the Scotland Poster with the watercolours.<\/p>\n
Alice: I enjoyed playing football and passing the ball.<\/p>\n
