It has been lovely to see everyone returning ready to learn and engage enthusiastically in all of our activities.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">In Literacy, we have been learning the \u2018ng\u2019 sound. The children have been practising recognising the sound in words, reading words containing <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">ng<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> and working hard on their letter formation during written activities.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">In Numeracy, we are continuing to consolidate our numbers to 20. Our focus has been on correct number formation and developing an understanding of place value. The children have been using practical materials and games to help build confidence when working with numbers.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">We are also continuing our preparations for Sports Day.
