We had to choose an animal and note down facts about them, and then research what type of landscape is found in that habitat. We&#8217;ll be drawing these animals and adding them to a big display outside our class that will show all the different habitats.<\/p>\n<p><strong>First Aid<\/strong> &#8211; This week, we rotated round 4 different stations that taught us about burns and scalds. <strong>Station 1<\/strong>: Adding instructions to our first aid booklets. <strong>Station 2<\/strong>: Using cold water to treat a burn or scald. <strong>Station 3<\/strong>: How to dress a burn.\u00a0<strong>Station 4<\/strong>: &#8216;Spot the Burns Hazard&#8217; task.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Maths<\/strong> &#8211; We started our information handling learning by watching a timelapse video of the most popular websites from 1993 &#8211; 2025. We had to compare the difference between the number of users a website started with, and the number it ended with in 2025. Some of the websites had something like 74 BILLION users in 2025!<\/p>\n<p><strong>Writing<\/strong> &#8211; We continued our discursive writing this week by choosing one of these 2 questions to write about: Should the school summer holidays be shortened? or Should zoos be closed? We had to think about arguments for and against each subject and link it with evidence, statistics and quotes we were given.
