Wow! We are already in Term 3, I can’t believe it. It has been such a quick year. This week we have learned our new sound ‘ll’ and our new common words ‘well, will, wall, call’. We have been revising addition and subtraction, and really focusing on our times tables. This week we also started our new Chocolate Topic, and the children learned how chocolate is made from start to finish. Homework was sent out on Tuesday, to be returned Monday. Math tasks are on mathletics, and books on bug club. The children have had a really lovely week, and it was really fun to hear all about your holidays.<\/p>\n

Austin- We are learning about chocolate right now.<\/p>\n

Isla- I liked learning about our new chocolate topic and i liked doing the colouring.<\/p>\n
Lewis- I liked playing Jurassic World with Ethan during child led play.<\/p>\n
Alice- I liked learning about cocoa trees and cocoa pods and how chocolate is made.<\/p>\n
Eilidh- I enjoyed learning about how many sums we can use to make a number.<\/p>\n
Hollie- I enjoyed learning about chocolate.<\/p>\n
Isla- I liked learning about diacritical marking when we are doing our spelling to help us sound words out.<\/p>\n
Heidi- I liked writing our recount of the Spring Holiday and sharing my skating news.<\/p>\n
Calvin- I enjoyed writing my recount of the Easter Holiday.<\/p>\n
Alex M- I enjoyed thinking about a new ending to the book we were reading.<\/p>\n
All children also wanted to comment that they are enjoying the new class reading book- Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.<\/p>\n
