This week has been full of exciting learning experiences and special visitors for the children!<\/span><\/p>\n

On Monday, we were very lucky to have a visit from the ambulance service. The children were thrilled to hear the sirens and see the ambulance up close. We learned all about the important work that paramedics do to help people in emergencies. Everyone had the chance to look inside the ambulance and see some of the equipment used to care for patients.<\/span><\/p>\n

On Wednesday, the police came in to visit us. The children really enjoyed learning about how the police help keep us safe and what their role is in our community. It was another wonderful opportunity for the children to engage with real-life helpers and understand more about the world around them.<\/span><\/p>\n

To end the week, we had a fun house points scavenger hunt! The children worked together in their teams, searching for clues and completing challenges. It was great to see their teamwork, enthusiasm and problem-solving skills in action.<\/span><\/p>\n

In the classroom, we have been focusing on the \u2018sh\u2019 sound in literacy. The children have been practicing recognising, reading and writing words with this sound. In maths, we are continuing our work on numbers up to 20, building confidence in counting, recognising numbers and understanding their value.<\/span><\/p>\n

It has been a busy and enjoyable week and we are very proud of all the children\u2019s efforts!<\/span><\/p>\n
