On Thursday 5th March, we celebrated World Book Day 2026. We had lots of fun ‘book themed’ plans and had a really great time celebrating all things reading and books.<\/p>\n

We came to school dressed in our comfortable clothes. Some of us even dressed up as our favourite book characters.<\/p>\n

We enjoyed some time in the morning reading our favourite books that we brought in from home.<\/p>\n

After break, we visited Room 3 and enjoyed watching an authors live. We also watched a helpful video which told us all about the names of different parts of a book e.g., the spine and the title page.<\/p>\n

In the afternoon, all of our friends in Primary 1 took part in a “reading picnic” in the gym hall.<\/p>\n
