{"id":31637,"date":"2026-03-13T12:59:50","date_gmt":"2026-03-13T12:59:50","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/glowblogs\/newtonfarm\/?p=31637"},"modified":"2026-03-13T12:59:50","modified_gmt":"2026-03-13T12:59:50","slug":"a-fun-week-in-room-5","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/glowblogs\/newtonfarm\/2026\/03\/13\/a-fun-week-in-room-5\/","title":{"rendered":"A fun week in Room 5"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">What we have learned this week:\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Calvin- We learned how to match the coins to their value<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Hollie- We learned facts for the Island of Coll, and in RME we learned about Lent.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Alice- In Writing this week we added who, what, why, how, where to our sentences.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Sam- We learned the u_e sound, like June.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Eilidh- We were learning to use coins to make a total<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Beth- We were learning how to recognise coins.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Eva- For our art table task we learned how to colour carefully, quietly and slowly.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Austin-We had some time for child led play and we were focusing on using them properly.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Isla- In French, we have been learning body parts and colours.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Sophie- In RME we have learned about Ramadan.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Fraser- I liked making mothers day cards.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Today we spent time creating mothers day cards, and shared lots of lovely stories about all our mums\/mummys and our families at home.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Reminder:<\/p>\n<p>Indoor P.E is on Thursdays, and outdoor P.E on Friday.
