We have had a very busy but fun week here in room 8!<\/span><\/p>\n

In numeracy, we have been rounding to the nearest 10, we learned that we can round numbers up or down to make them friendlier – we even have a rhyme to help us to remember!<\/span><\/p>\n

In literacy, we have been doing lots of work on our class novel – Matilda, including exploring Matilda’s feelings, and retelling the story through a comic strip.<\/p>\n

In handwriting we have practiced joining up our letters, and in writing we have been focussing on adjectives.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
