Wow! What a fantastic (and busy!) week Room 5 have had celebrating Book Week!

We began our week by taking part in an ‘Author’s Live’ lesson with the one and only, Axel Shefler!
He taught us how to draw his most famous book character, The Gruffalo! Take a look at some of our super illustrators in action …

The book bag gifting took place on Tuesday and we welcomed some very special visitors into our classrooms! We would like to thank all of the Room 5 families and friends who took the time to participate in this event – it was a great turn out and very much enjoyed by the children!

To top off a brilliant week, we also received a special visit from our school ‘Reading Ambassadors’!
