This week in Room 6 we learned a new sound ‘ff’ as in different. The children enjoyed lots of different active spelling stations to explore different ff words. We have been learning about capacity and weight in Maths, and are moving onto 3D shape. We have been revising our times tables and division, and have challenged ourselves to the 3 and 4 times table! Keep practicing at home!
We have been reading Charlie and The Chocolate Factory as our class books which links into our chocolate topic, and have been really enjoying this.
Pupil Voice:
AW: I liked the ‘ff’ sound and I enjoyed reading my new book.

NM: I liked writing about our chocolate bar.
LW: I enjoyed making a lego mosque.

Shout out to our Star Mathematician, Emily for showing confidence in multiplication and a shout out to our Star Citizen, Charlie for always taking pride in his work. Well done!
This week Teddy went home with Abigail!
Homework is consolidation of all previous sounds, books are on bug club and maths task on mathletics.
Thanks so much,
