This week,

HMcH – I liked learning ‘ph’ – ‘phone’. I liked when we were at the book fair. 

HMcG – I liked learning about dinosaurs, the different types.

ER – I liked learning through play and my jotter tasks like in my maths jotter. I liked doing my numbers.

CJ – I liked learning through play. I liked the straws and we made a straw shield which protects your chest.

IMcL – I enjoyed when we do maths and we write the ladybug then we pretended to be birds to eat the ladybug spots, these are number stories.

CD – I enjoyed when we were drawing our own dinosaurs.

On Tuesday 20th May, we will be making fruit kebabs in class as part of Health Week. We will be using bananas, tangerines and apples. If you have any dietary concerns, please get in touch with me before Tuesday.

On Wednesday 21st May we will be hosting our Primary 1 Sports Day. This will take place from 1:30-2:45pm in the pitches. We look forward to seeing you there, cheering us on! 🙂

On Thursday 22nd May, the children can come to school dressed up as a superhero/someone that they admire for our ‘Superhero Day’.

Homework will be sent home again next week. I have assigned two books on Bug Club for you to access in the meantime. Thank you for your cooperation with this.
