We have had another busy week in Room 5!

We continued our learning of double consonants and this week, we have been learning the phoneme ‘ll’. We know that this sound will always come after a short vowel sound. Take a look at our phoneme finding in action…

Our current topic, ‘Chocolate’, is still in full swing and, this week, we were able to learn with some real cocoa beans and identify all of its parts! We looked closely at the smell and texture of the husk (skin) and then we opened up the beans to find the chocolate nibs inside!
