Good afternoon,

Room 1 have had a lovely week back after the holidays. It was great to hear all about everyone’s spring break.

The boys and girls have settled back into school life well, please see below what we have been learning about:

I liked coming up with words for our new sound ‘ch’ –  CW

I enjoyed learning about double sound and how the letters become friends and say a different sound – TT

I enjoyed learning through play – XM

I enjoyed taking part in the egg and spoon race – RL

I enjoyed identifying the double sound in different words when playing show me don’t tell me. – OR

I enjoyed playing addition bingo. – KMcD

I enjoyed being a palaeontologist – SC
