Last week, Room 2 went on their class trip to the Riverside Museum. Our friends from Room 3 came too.
The first big excitement was the school bus! It was our first time travelling on a school bus so this was very exciting!
When we arrived at the museum, we took part in a fantastic ‘People Who Help Us’ workshop which helped to consolidate our learning on this topic. We discussed the emergency services and what to do in various situations. We got to try on different costumes and take on the role of the emergency services. We then got to create our own ‘STOP’ signs that we could take home with us to remind us how to cross roads safely.
We then spent the rest of the afternoon walking around the museum. We looked at the old street and lots of modes of transport. We then went out a little walk to see The Tall Ship. We had a fantastic day. Thank you to the parents/carers who accompanied us on our trip, we enjoyed spending the day with you.
